Agility
Agility is a sport where the dog runs over a course with several obstacles, like for instance a see saw, A frame, weaving poles, hurdles, tunnels and a dog walk. The obstacles are placed on the field and numbers near the obstacles show in which direction the course should be taken.

Agility is suitable for all types of dogs over the age of 1 year, as long as they are fit and healthy, not obese and don't have any orthopaedic problems. The dog should know some basic obedience training and not be aggressive to other dogs.
Agility courses
At the moment we are running our Autumn agility courses and we also give private tuition for agility for all levels.
From April 2012 the agility season starts again at Black Jack DTC on Monday and Tuesday evening. If you are interested in doing agility at our club, please contact us. We would like dogs to have done some obedience training before starting agility lessons. If you have already done some agility training at another dog club and are interested in joining our club, please contact Hetty to discuss the level your dog is at, so we can put you in a suitable group.
